Austin Godinez is an attorney at The Law Offices of Christopher Chaney, where he brings a sharp analytical mind and a relentless work ethic to the firm’s criminal defense and civil litigation matters. A recent graduate of The Colleges of Law in Ventura, California. Austin gained hands-on courtroom experience clerking at the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office. During his time there, he argued motions in open court, conducted legal research, and drafted memoranda on complex issues—all while assisting prosecutors with case strategy and trial preparation.
Before pursuing law, Austin earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Humboldt State University, where his rigorous scientific training sharpened his attention to detail and precision. His background in both law and science gives him a unique advantage in cases involving forensic evidence, technology, and investigative nuance.
